In the era of media assimilation with the digital revolution, the TV and radio broadcasting industry is transitioning from conventional hardware-based infrastructure such as SDI (Serial Digital Interface) and analog systems to an internet protocol (IP)-based broadcasting infrastructure. IP-based technology has opened up new avenues in how content is created, processed, distributed, and monitored — with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and adaptability to ongoing technological advancements. The shift to IP technology enables more effective integration of audio, video, and data within a unified network platform for content production, distribution, transmission, and monitoring. It also supports system automation, remote production, low-latency signal performance, and mobility in managing both live and recorded broadcasts. Key protocols such as AES67, SMPTE ST 2110, and NDI play crucial roles in ensuring compatibility and delivering high-quality content in modern broadcasting environments. Aligned with this digital transformation, technical personnel in the broadcasting field must be equipped with knowledge of the concepts, tools, and best practices related to implementing IP-based broadcasting systems. Therefore, this course is designed to enhance participants’ understanding and competencies in both the technical and practical aspects of IP infrastructure for TV and radio broadcasting, in line with future operational demands for a more sustainable and competitive industry.
