Assoc. Prof. Dr. Romlah is an accomplished academician specializing in communications, with over 20 years of experience in the field. Dr. Romlah’s academic qualifications include a PhD in Communication from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia, a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Universiti Teknologi MARA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Dr. Romlah’s areas of expertise encompass strategic communication, new media privacy concerns, and intercultural communication. Her research interests are broad and impactful, focusing on topics such as self-presentation, local culture, and the influence of media and communication on society. Notably, she has been involved in significant research projects, including studies on communication strategies in organizational settings, media reporting frameworks, and communication interventions for at-risk students.

DR. ADIBAH ISMAIL

PROGRAMME CHAIR (B. COMMUNICATION (HONS.))
Dr. Adibah is a distinguished academician with extensive expertise in the field of communication, particularly in investigative journalism. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Universiti Sains Malaysia, two Master’s degrees—one in Communication Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and another in Managerial Communication from Universiti Utara Malaysia—culminating in a PhD in Communication from Universiti Utara Malaysia, where she focused on the dynamics of investigative journalism. Dr. Adibah's research is particularly notable in the areas of press freedom, media ethics, and the evolving landscape of journalism in Malaysia, especially in the context of new media technologies

DR. JAMILAH JAMAL

COMMUNICATION LECTURER
Dr. Jamilah binti Jamal is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Multimedia Technology and Communication, Universiti Utara Malaysia. She has an extensive academic background in communication, holding a PhD in Communication from Universiti Utara Malaysia, a Master's degree in Communication Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a Master's in Corporate Communication from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her undergraduate degree, majoring in Public Relations, is from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Dr. Jamilah’s expertise lies primarily in the areas of crisis communication, reputation management, and leadership communication. She has made significant contributions to the field through her research, which focuses on how organizations manage crises, maintain their reputation, and communicate effectively with the public, especially in the digital age. Her work often explores the role of leadership in navigating crises and the impact of strategic communication on public trust and organizational credibility.

PN MARZURA IBRAHIM

COMMUNICATION LECTURER
Mdm. Marzura Binti Ibrahim is a distinguished academician in the field of communication, currently serving as a Lecturer at the UUM College of Arts and Sciences within the School of Multimedia Technology and Communication. Her expertise lies primarily in managerial communication, organizational communication, and internal communication. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Communication Management from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Mdm. Marzura has contributed extensively to research areas such as interpersonal communications, Malaysian mass media, and new media. Her scholarly work includes publications on the impact of organizational communication on performance and the role of internal communication in various organizational settings, particularly in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia.
